Diversity Statement

Last updated: 13th August 2022

I believe that diversity and inclusion aren’t optional. Everyone is welcome at Katie Dimario.

Everyone is welcome. Diversity brings us together to learn and grow. Every individual is respected, supported, and appreciated for their unique contribution, diverse talents and for being themselves.

Diversity and inclusion are vital to the success of Katie Dimario and What Katie Wrote. I work with people from all backgrounds, beliefs, and experiences. I believe everyone should have the freedom to be themselves and be valued for their differences. It’s what makes our world go around.

I acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the first inhabitants of the nation and the traditional custodians of the lands where we live, learn, and work. Katie Dimario and What Katie Wrote are located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk Noongar people. I wish to acknowledge and respect their continuing culture and the contribution they make to the life of this city and this region.
